Virtual Reality Maintenance Simulator (VRMS)

VRMS is an advanced Three-Dimensional (3D) virtual projection simulation, used to train Flight Line Crew (FLC) procedures prior to aircraft launch, during aircraft launch, receiving aircraft and turning around aircraft for the next flight.

VRMS recreates the environment and virtually project it in a restricted zone through the use of head mounted display (HMD), where trainee is allowed to move freely in the zone. Field of view is sufficiently wide, providing periphery vision to trainee to increase realism of collaborative tasks and emergency scenarios.

Procedural training includes: Before flight check procedures, aircraft launch procedures, aircraft receiving procedures, and turnaround checks procedures.
