We use Instructor-Led Training (ILT) as part of our blended learning approach to facilitate problem-based learning. This approach is also especially effective for advanced learning, complex topics and behavioral skills. The effectiveness of the ILT very much lies on the capabilities of the instructor in the areas of knowledge, experiences and the ability the engage the learners. ILTs can be made very interesting with activities, games, interaction and even multimedia components being used in the lesson. This helps engage the learners and improve their interest on the subject matters which in return enhance his/her rate of learning.
