EASA Part 66
The worldwide move to regulate aircraft maintenance engineering standards and training with the acceptance of the EASA 66 regulations has prompted the need to look into possibilities of introducing and providing the necessary training and licensing for personnel in the local and regional aerospace industry to meet these standards. In addition, the slowdown in the aerospace industry worldwide has also resulted in a slew of retrenchments globally that has affected Singapore and the region. The shift towards such a certification aims to not only prepare personnel to be more versatile and to value add to their organizations but also to enable mobility. Structural unemployment will also continue to persist between industries that are slowing down and industries that are growing and on a global scale, the mobility of personnel becomes much more important towards ensuring sustainable employment and career growth. A EASA certification will enable the movement of early adopters and personnel to alleviate labor shortages in growing industries in the Middle East, India, China and Australia as well as to attract business from clients who have already moved towards a EASA 66 system. AviationLearn has, in view of these trends, developed a Conversion Course for experienced personnel who are interested in attaining licensing under the EASA 66 structure. |
